The team behind award-winning South Kensington restaurant l’etranger, has opened Meursault at l’etranger, a bar and 40-cover dining room.
Meursault, the main character in L’Étranger, the novel written by French existentialist and Nobel Prize winner Albert Camus, was the inspiration
behind the decadent and elegant interior.
With an emphasis on comfort and quality, the interior designed by Andy Martin, will feature natural stone, glass, leather, and marble detail, and a striking, intricately designed ceiling by award-winning illustrator Noumeda Carbone. Inspired by the Belle Époque, it incorporates 18,000 LED lights.
