I am an illustrator based in Scotland.

 Currently studying for a Master's degree, My personal work is ignited by the worry that visual art is a self indulgent way to spend a life, and whether contributions to the art world can be as admirable as helping first hand or making scientific breakthroughs. A lot of this discussion depends on whether we are primarily physical or mental beings, and if consciousness is independent of our body. I look at our selves in relation to our body and art in relation to science, and often use scientific methods and apparatus to make my work. Medium wise, I am most moved by the immediacy, sensitivity and innate humanity of drawing. 

I also very much enjoy the commercial side of illustration and particularly enjoy working on editorial,stationery and artist's book projects.
